Drainage of open pit floors
In German mining, the SÖFFEL*/po-Söffel waste water pumps are used as dewatering pumps for draining the bottom of opencast mines. A tandem coupling allows several pumps to be connected in series.
Water level regulation in the construction industry
Among other things, the drainage pumps also convince with their extremely resistant pump housing, which also proves itself under tough conditions in the construction industry.
Pumping aggressive water out of the opencast mine
The Söffel was used as a transport pump to pump aggressive water out of a German opencast mine. Mounted under a swim platform, the pump features excellent resistance to abrasive and corrosive conditions.
