For 20 years, the Energy and Drinking Water Conference in Hawangen has been a respected platform for networking between water supply and disposal companies, engineering firms, specialist authorities, plant engineers, manufacturers and service providers. oddesse receives the ISO 14001 certificate
It’s done, after many days of preparation we have successfully completed the repeated certification of our environmental management system according to ISO 14001. All oddesse employees have contributed to this with their knowledge and commitment.
The task now is to continue to consistently apply and implement the guidelines in our daily work and our products.
The complexity of the challenges of our time in the interaction of people, technology and the environment, is reflected in our thinking and actions.

New head of component production
After Wolfgang Stemmer went into his well-deserved retirement on 31 July, Christian Zutz has taken over the responsibility as head of component production.
Mr Zutz has been working in our company as a production engineer and technologist since August 2012. His broad experience were the basis for his aspiring professional career at oddesse.
On July 1, 2022, Johannes Eichler was also promoted to be the new deputy head of component production. Mr Eichler joined the team in January 2018 and previously worked in work preparation. We wish both of them every ounce of success in their responsible job.
All the best and most of all good health for his retirement to our long-time colleague, Wolfgang Stemmer.
ORPU at SMM 2022
Our subsidiary, ORPU Pumpenfabrik GmbH, cordially invites you to visit the long-awaited event of the maritime industry. The SMM will take place from 6 to 9 September in Hamburg, Germany.

New head of construction and development department
After Johannes Weinreich left oddesse at the end of June, Frank Hentrich now takes over the area of responsibility as Head of Development and Construction.
Mr Hentrich has been working for our company as development engineer and constructor since 1 May 2008. His high level of technical knowledge as a motor engineer and specialist as well as his many years of experience, also abroad, were the basis for his rising career in oddesse.
Dr Ralf Hinzelmann has also been appointed Deputy Head of Development since 1 July 2022. Dr Hinzelmann has been with our company since 1 January 2020 and is a construction and development engineer responsible for pumps, motors and systems.
We wish Mr Hentrich and Dr Hinzelmann every success in their responsible positions.
IFAT 2022 – We were there!
After a successful week at IFAT 2022 in Munich, we would like to thank you very much for visiting our stand.
In addition to the new booster pumps and highly efficient pump systems, our visitors were able to see the proven drainage pumps, submersible motors and sewage pumps from oddesse and ORPU. The numerous and really interesting conversations are now being evaluated and processed by us.
The participation in the fair was supported by the European Union with funds from the European Regional Development Fund.
